In response to a guy called Christopher Ng Wai Chung who accused me of "politicking" when I raise the issue of ambulance asking whether you can pay the fee of $120 before they offer their service to you..
Christopher Ng Wai Chung is just too fortunate to be in the upper income group and he does not really understand what is actually happening on the ground nor does he care because he only cares for himself. Thus, in a way, I cannot blame him for not having that kind of empathy of what $120 means to the poor people on the ground because that is just "peanuts" to him.
To him, I am putting this up as a means of "politicking" or that, this is just my "political strategy" of winning support. He may not know but subconsciously, he just know that such reflection of ground situation is really important part of politics which he would refuse to acknowledge. Simply put, if putting up such ground situations isn't "political", why would he consider it as as "political plot" by me?
Politics is about the livelihood of the citizens and it would inevitably mean that anything that affects the well being of the citizens, IS POLITICAL.
Rest be assured that I won't be stopped nor put off by people like Christopher because why should I be hindered by ignorance and stupidity? I will continue to speak up of issues which affect the well being, livelihood and most important of, the life and death of Singaporeans. Make no mistake about it, IT IS POLITICAL.
Although I am not even a member of any political party at the moment, but I do not really mind people like Christopher to accuse me of "politicking" here. But what I am concerned is, political parties which chose to ignore such important life and death issues of citizens using the excuse that it will be considered as "politicking" if they raise such issues and thus, they chose to keep quiet about it! It would mean that they are really out of touch and out of sync with the people who have voted and supported them. Being "atas" is equivalent to "living in ivory tower" politically.
